Mains Powered

Mains power smoke alarms must be installed in new properties and any existing properties.

The 9-volt Alkaline battery back-up is required to be changed annually while the 10-year rechargeable non-removable Lithium battery back-up does not need to be changed during the life of the unit, ensuring continuous protection. The backup battery condition is continually monitored by the Brooks smoke alarm. This is an ideal solution if you want to eliminate the need to climb up a ladder to change batteries.
