FA-IN - Input Module
The FA-IN input module provides supervised monitoring of connected fire safety field devices including sprinkler flows, manual call points (MCPs) and thermal detectors.
Specifically designed for use with the FireAlert FA40 System, the FA-IN connects directly to the panels zone circuits, enabling installation with automatic device discovery.

- Monitors normally-open dry contact inputs from field devices
- Continuously supervises input wiring for open and short circuit faults
- Reports device status and fault conditions to the fire panel within 10 seconds
- Self-monitors for internal faults including processor lockup and program corruption
- Configurable device personality via DIP switches (Sprinkler, MCP, or Thermal)
- Automatic address assignment during system commissioning
- LED status indication for field verification
