FA016 - Photoelectric Smoke Alarm
The FA016 alarm features a high-performance photoelectric smoke sensor, ideal for detecting smoke from slow, smouldering fires. In addition, the chamber design, integrated insect screen and unique dust compensation algorithm reduce the risk of nuisance alarms.
The FA016 is powered by 16Vdc main supply provided by Brooks FA40 Residential Control and Indicating Equipment (RCIE). FA016 must only be connected to an FA40 RCIE.
The FA016 includes a built in rechargeable 10-year non-removable lithium battery, that can power the unit for up to 6 months in the event of the 16Vdc supply failure.
