Residential Fire Panel RFP - 6 / 12 / 18 Zones

The RFP suite of Residential Fire Alarm Panels complete with compatible smoke/heat alarms provide an automatic fire detection system designed to meet the requirements of AS3786-2014 and Building Code Australia.

The RFP systems provide solutions for residents sharing and being affected by a common fire alarm system and the problems associated with high probability of false or nuisance alarms. The Brooks RFP system not only allows for ease of installation and operation but has inbuilt features to ensure:

  • System integrity ( circuit supervisions/surge protection)
  • Customising to suit specific needs(general, zone or individual alarm)
  • Minimising of nuisance alarms ( photoelectric and heat alarms)
  • Trouble shooting maintenance (inbuilt diagnostics)

An automatic Residential fire alarm system is comprised of components for automatically detecting a fire and the initiation of local warning devices. The Residential Fire (RFP) system employs smoke and/or heat sensitive alarms with interconnect signalling, to initiate both audio and visual means of fire alarm warning. System functionality can be tailored for site specific requirements via simple dip switch adjustments.   The panels have the added important feature of supervising the zone circuitry for a fault condition. The Defect Mode output provides a means of monitoring whenever the system is placed either deliberately or accidentally into a non-standard condition.

    • Key switch Operation:
      • “ON” System ON - Charger ON
      • “OFF” System OFF - Charger ON
      • “FIRE” activates all smoke/heat alarms
    • Defect Output (Fault): 1 set changeover dry contact
    • Alarm Outputs: 12V DC 1 Amp maximum & 1 set changeover dry contact
    • Panic Input: N/O dry contact - activates all S/H Alarms
    • Sounder Silence Switch: Acknowledges panel sounder
    • Ancillary Isolate Switch: Isolate common alarm outputs
    • Alarm Locate Switch: Silences all Smoke/Heat Alarms except those initiating the alarm
