FireTracker Conventional CIE, FT420 | Fire Alarm Control Panel

Overview

The Brooks FireTracker Conventional CIE, FT420, is a highly integrated, highly configurable and flexible Fire Alarm Control Panel. It has been designed and manufactured to comply with AS7240.2 and AS7240.4 standards. It has been tested and approved under the CSIRO ActivFire scheme. The product with correct configuration and installation is suited to a wide range of applications which require reliable detection, occupant warnings and ancillary control.

• Simple and clear user interface – the CIE modular and intuitive user interface significantly simplifies the system operations. It provides users with all the necessary information and controls at a glance via the individually well-grouped indicators and momentary push-button switches.
• Audible and visual indications – it is capable of providing visual and audible warning for fire alarm evacuation conditions using external strobe output and warning output. If an OWS option is added, the FT420 system provides additional fire safety by using both alert and evacuation tones and messages.
• Less disturbance during tests – if OWS is used, the CIE broadcasts clear and brief voice messages to the specified speakers during the alarm tests and walk test “Testing”. It ensures the efficiency of the system routine tests and minimises unwanted disturbances to occupants.
• Gaseous extinguishing system – the FT420 can incorporate a Brooks dual stage gaseous extinguishing system that meets the relevant clauses of the Australian Standard AS4214.
• Brooks AlertCom – custom programming converts the FT420 CIE into a fully functional Occupant Management System enabling the tailoring of 8 unique tones to prompt a specific response.   All tones can be activated manually and via automatic triggering.
